For more than 35 years, Pete has provided litigation, arbitration, and mediation services for clients that own, manage, invest in, construct, and lease real property. Pete has tried over 30 cases to verdict and arbitration awards and has been designated as an expert witness in California Superior Courts. A partial list of his representative matters includes commercial unlawful detainers, title insurance and secured transaction litigation, partition, purchase/sale disputes, partnership and LLC disputes, mechanic's lien and construction litigation, ADA defense work, non-disclosure cases, HOA disputes, trespass and encroachment cases among adjacent landowners, creditors' rights cases, as well as enforcement of judgments.
Prior to Zacks, Freedman & Chernev, Pete was a partner in the San Francisco office of a national law firm.
Pete is married to Danna Kozerski, has two grown children, and enjoys family, travel, and golf. Pete is a 15-year veteran of the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, has run 20 marathons, and is a proud member of the Olympic Club.
